Terms of Use
Version: September 19, 2026
Operator: Kith.
What you are joining
Kith is an invitation-only service in early access. This version connects your private Messages conversation with Kith and saves permitted new messages. Kith can reply conversationally in that private chat and save a name you provide to your profile. Replies use limited recent context from that chat; broader memory recall is not available yet.
Selecting the acceptance button means you agree to these terms and the direct-chat saving permission below. The Privacy Policy explains how that information is handled. Opening Messages alone does not connect you: send the prepared message from the phone number you entered.
Once your number is verified, Kith creates your account and profile and can share its contact card in iMessage. You can provide profile details later.
Your direct-chat permission
You authorize Kith to receive, store and document new messages from you and Kith in this private chat, including edits, reactions, attachment references and delivery information. Saving starts after Kith verifies the connection. It does not import past messages, your contacts or other conversations.
This permission lasts one year from acceptance unless you pause or delete sooner. Saved records remain until you request deletion. Kith uses OpenRouter and Google to generate private-chat replies as described in the Privacy Policy. This permission does not authorize research, model training, purchases or other actions on your behalf.
Your acceptance applies only to you and this private chat. It cannot enroll anyone else. Connecting a group is separate and requires each participant's own agreement.
Your controls
Send Kith status for the current connection state. Send Kith pause to stop saving new messages and conversational replies; earlier records remain. A new website consent can reconnect a paused chat.
Send Kith delete to delete that chat's captured content from Kith's active database and close its connection. This does not erase every operational record, backup or provider copy. See retention and deletion for those limits. Sending a carrier opt-out command such as STOP also stops capture and suppresses Kith's replies.
Use Kith responsibly
Use a phone number you control. Share only information you are entitled to share. Do not impersonate someone, bypass access controls, send unlawful content or disrupt the service. Connecting does not transfer ownership of your content to Kith; your permission is to process it for the service described here.
Early access and changes
Kith and its messaging providers can experience delays, gaps and outages. Keep your own copies of information you need. This version is not an emergency service and should not be relied on for urgent help.
Features or access may change or be suspended, including for security or misuse. Updated terms will carry a new version date. A change to these terms does not itself expand your existing saving permission.
